About

I'm a technology professional with a focus on engineering management, product strategy, and full-stack software development.

  • Airwallex logoAirwallex : I currently lead the Issuing Platform, the infrastructure that powers card products across 70+ countries.
  • Zendesk logoZendesk : Six years growing and leading the Messaging product team from a handful of engineers to forty+ across six squads.
  • Autodesk logoAutodesk : Eight years working on the flagship AutoCAD product and building out identity infrastructure at scale.

I studied engineering at the National University of Singapore and went back for a formal B-school degree at Warwick later in my career. The combination shapes how I think: I care about the Technical Craft as much as the people doing it, and I care about the Business problems as much as the architectures solving it.

Most of my time these days goes to being a father to twin girls. What's left, I spend building things and using AI tools and coding agents constantly, partly to stay current with where the craft is heading, and partly because I still enjoy it.

I also work with a small number of founders, leaders, and engineers on problems that don't have clean answers. Not every challenge fits neatly into a framework, and sometimes the most useful thing is a conversation with someone who has been in a similar spot.

If you're working through something like that, let's chat.

The agent eats the stack

Navigation was never the work, it was a tax we paid because the machine could not understand us. That tax is now being removed, and the agent is eating the stack from the top down.

What took so long

I have always been fairly opinionated. The bottleneck was never ideas, it was time. Here is what has changed.

Have a topic you want to think through?

Most useful conversations aren't the ones where someone already knows what they need. They're the ones where someone is working through a half-formed problem. If you're in that spot, let's chat.
